Delivering Happiness Through Flowers

Growing Hope, One Bouquet at a Time

Flowers for Joy partners with local florists, grocery stores, and volunteers to deliver donated bouquets and uplifting poems to oncology clinics each week. What began as a personal act of gratitude has grown into a community-driven initiative that brings moments of beauty, hope, and human connection to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. By transforming small acts of kindness into a sustainable model for impact, Flowers for Joy reminds patients that they are not alone in their journey.

Each week, volunteers collect donated flowers from local florists and community partners. The bouquets are paired with an uplifting poem written by founder Seema Govil and delivered to oncology clinics. Patients receiving chemotherapy and radiation treatments, along with caregivers and healthcare staff, receive flowers that bring comfort, hope, and a reminder that they are not alone in their journey.
"Receiving flowers during treatment brought a sense of comfort and hope when I needed it most. It reminded me that I wasn't alone in my journey."
— Flowers for Joy Recipient

"The flowers create a noticeable difference in the clinic. Patients seem calmer, conversations become warmer, and the entire environment feels more uplifting."
— Oncology Clinic Staff

Member"Nobody expects to receive flowers while sitting in an infusion chair. That small surprise can completely change someone's day and remind them that people care."
